La première fois que j’ai vu un film de Stanley Kubrick, c’était à la télévision, je ne me souviens plus de l’âge que j’avais ni du scénario, mais je crois qu’il s’agissait de Shining. Disons que je devais avoir moins de treize ans. Et le film m’avait fait forte impression. Une impression qui m’est restée. Ensuite, Stanley Kubrick n’a plus existé pour moi pendant plusieurs années.

Peu de gens le savent mais bien avant de faire des films, Stanley Kubrick a été photo-reporter pour Look magazine. Le Chicago Tribune vient de mettre en ligne l’un de ses reportages, « Chicago, la cité des contrastes »
